Ladysmith Festival of Lights – Light Up Night
Join us on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in downtown Ladysmith for the Ladysmith Festival of Lights! Experience Vancouver Island’s most spectacular holiday event with over 300,000 lights, a festive parade, live music, food concessions, Santa, and a breathtaking Drone Show presented by Ladysmith & District Credit Union.

Event Schedule
- 3:00 PM – Christmas Craft Fair at Aggie Hall
- 4:00 PM – Street entertainment and food concessions open
- 4:00–6:15 PM – Live entertainment featuring Doctors of Rock and Roll, NZR LED Robots, and more
- 6:15 PM – Light Up Ceremony with Santa and our contest winner
- 6:45 PM – Kinsmen Parade
- 8:30 PM (approx.) – Spectacular Drone Show presented by LDCU

From November 19–27, enter to win 4 tickets to the Vancouver Canucks vs. St. Louis Blues game (March 21, 2026) PLUS 4 Hullo ferry tickets! Tickets: $5 each at rafflebox.ca or at kiosks during Light Up Night. Sponsored by Hullo Ferries and West Coast Factory Direct Hot Tubs.
Parking & Road Closures
First Avenue will be closed from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Accessible parking via Buller Street (with authorized pass). Additional parking at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bethel Tabernacle Church, and Ladysmith Secondary School. Please do not park along the Trans-Canada Highway. Shuttle service is not available this year.
